My friends, we need to find a loving home for Tipsy. She is currently in a shelter in Cyprus and has been there for about 7 months now. Her name does not come from drinking too many Brandy Sours (now there’s a good drink!) she was found tied up on a rubbish tip. Therefore there is no history about her, but she is about a year old and a true sweetie. Despite her rough start, she is not aggressive and loves a cuddle. She looks a little like a Cyprus Poodle but again there is no definites here! She has been spayed and is fully vaccinated and will not have to go through any quarantine.
Now, I understand that there are dogs out there in our own UK shelters who need homes and I will happily publish any stories on this website in an attempt to re-home a dog, but this is the first time I have been approached to try and help. In Cyprus there are not many shelters who work with a non-destruction policy. Many dogs are put to sleep over there because of the lack of willing helpers and the ignorance of some dog owners when it comes to neutering their pets.
