About Me

From my early days I’ve always wanted to have my own pet, preferably a big one. My parents used to cringe when I begged for a horse, or a Dobermann, or a lion. We already had a Welsh Corgi called Whiskey and later two cats followed; Jasper and Lady (who was no lady I can tell you!). My aunt then threw the spanner in the works by having a Dobermann… That was it.  I was leaving home, much to my two big brothers’ delight! But that wasn’t to be and so I continued the dream that one day I would work with animals.

Fast forward a very successful career – not in the animal world I’m afraid – I am now trained as a drug detection dog handler, qualified in canine behaviour and as a canine first aider.  I am now extending my skills by training to become a TTouch practitioner.

Fully insured, I have experience with all kinds of dogs from Yorkies to Ridgebacks. But don’t go thinking it’s just dogs that I am interested in. I also have knowledge of small animals from fish and rats to cats and hens. And when I can, I love to get out and go horse riding.
